4x4 Exploration of Erg Chigaga

About this experience

Beyond M'Hamid the paved road ends. In a private Land Cruiser you cross the dry bed of Lac Iriqui, where mirages shimmer over salt crust in the morning light, then descend into the dune field of Erg Chigaga. Visit a nomad family in their tent settlement, climb the great dune for sunset, and — on the overnight version — sleep in a camp with no light for a hundred kilometers. Full of wildlife, silence and horizon.
