About this experience
The Marathon des Sables puts runners across 250 kilometers of the Sahara in full self-sufficiency. As a spectator you skip the suffering: our 4x4 with a desert driver follows the race across the bivouac, bringing you to the camps where the international field sleeps, eats and re-stocks. You meet runners at the finish of each stage, watch helicopters ferry gear between camps, and carry your own small support stash for the athletes you know.
